Here is an example of ‘Layered Lace’; an elegant fabric that can be worn in a variety of ways.
This is beautiful. I love it and would love to make a lace dress. I’d be interested to know of any specialist suppliers of lace if the Che Camille Team know of any, especially if there’s a scots manufacturer? Would it look anywhere as good a Chanel or Prada versions?
See everyone on Sunday. Liz
There is one lace supplier in Darvel; Morton Young Borland – who manufacture lace – I know the designer there so I’ll have a chat with her. The Prada lace is Swiss handmade couture lace – mega expensive but French mills still produce good quality lace; I’m going to a trade fair in London w/c 19th and there will be specialist lace suppliers there – let me know what you are looking for and I’ll arrange samples. In terms of the look – it truly depends on the quality of the lace! The mills showing – specialise in small sample lengths for designers & couturiers so if anybody else is looking for something specific – let me know.
